Attention Small Business Owners: The Senator is Bringing the Resources to You
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy.” It makes for a great sound bite on the radio or TV, but more importantly, it’s true!
That’s why Senator Kemp Hannon is hosting a Small Business Seminar on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Levittown Hall located at 201 Levittown Parkway in Hicksville, from 7 pm – 9 pm.
Five experts from five different organizations will focus on crucial resources that are available for small businesses to help keep their business thriving during this dismal economy. Deputy District Director, Alfred Titone of Small Business Administration, Barry Greenspan of NYS Empire State Development, James Goldrick, VP of NY Business Development Corp, Frank Mitchell Corso, Jr. of Frank Mitchell Corso, Jr. and Associates and John Steinhoff, Senior Business Advisor from the Small Business Development Center at Farmingdale State University will be presenting.
The speakers will address availability of business financing for small businesses in today’s environment such as Government Guaranteed Loans, lines of credit, receivable financing and hard money. Other topics such as preparing a Grant Proposal, steps in preparing a loan request, marketing strategies, cause marketing campaigns, etc. will also be discussed in detail.
